The Dhutanga to Celebrate the Lord Buddha’s Relics Being Enshrined at Dattajeevo Maha Cetiya on Saturday 6th December 2014
The Dattajeevo Maha Cetiya is being constructed with the contemporary Buddhist style and its shape similar to that of a lotus which is recognized as a symbol of the establishment of Buddhism and the enlightenment of Lord Buddha. The Cetiya is around 15 meters in height. It is located in the same land as the Kanchanaburi Youth Training Center which will be used for the moral training and meditation practice of monks, novices, laymen and youths who live in Kanchanaburi and nearby provinces.

โครงการ “ธุดงค์ธรรมชัย เส้นทางพระผู้ปราบมาร พระมงคลเทพมุนี (สด จันทสโร) หลวงปู่วัดปากน้ำ ภาษีเจริญ ปีที่ 4 ธรรมยาตรา เพื่อฟื้นฟูศีลธรรมโลก” จัดขึ้นวันที่ 2 – 31 มกราคม พ.ศ.2558 พระธุดงค์จากทั่วประเทศ 1,130 รูป เดินตามรอยจาริกของหลวงปู่วัดปากน้ำ เพื่อฝึกตน มีแรงบันดาลใจบวชอยู่ต่อและปฏิบัติธรรมให้ได้ตามอย่างพระพุทธเจ้าและหลวงปู่วัดปากน้ำ รวมทั้งโปรดญาติโยมตลอดเส้นทางนำสิริมงคลไปให้ และสร้างความเจริญรุ่งเรืองให้กับพระพุทธศาสนา
97 Years of Dhammakaya Knowledge (Vijja Dhammakaya)
Dhammakaya is the body of enlightenment of the Lord Buddha and “vijja” is the true knowledge; together, “vijja Dhammakaya” means the true and supreme knowledge illuminated by the Dhammakaya vision.
December 5th: Father’s Day in Thailand
December 5th of each year is a significant day in Thailand as it commemorates the anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s birthday. This day is also known as Thailand’s national Father’s Day since His Majesty is recognized as the father of the Thai nation. He is an exemplary model father who is revered for his generosity and benevolence.
